What I Wore: Quarantine, Day 90

what I wore quarantine

I’ll be honest – I haven’t been in the mood to write lately. Processing everything that’s going on in the world is hard enough as is, and going through this lockdown alone has made the changes particularly intense. Writing about clothing just hasn’t felt important with everything else that’s happening. But as the initial shock of these changes has worn off and I’ve slowly settled in to this new normal, the thought of catching up on here has become more appealing again. Anyway, to celebrate making it through three months of lockdown I decided to dress up for a photo with my “roommates.”

I got this olive green linen suit about a year ago –  while I can’t even begin to pretend that it’s some sort of “essential” piece, I do quite enjoy wearing it. And as my frequency of wearing tailored clothing dips lower and lower, enjoyment has become the only real thing that matters.

I hope you’re all healthy and safe, and look forward to having more discussions with you soon.
