I just returned from a work trip to New York – I didn’t have a ton of time to explore the city on this trip, but it was still a nice change of pace from San Francisco. Weather-wise, I got a bit of everything – some sun, some rain, some cold mornings and warm afternoons. As always, I tried to make everything work with everything else and keep it all in a carryon. Here’s what I brought:
- Casual blazer to wear with jeans, chinos or trousers (depending on required formality)
- Waxed cotton jacket
- Gray flannel trousers
- Dark denim
- Olive chinos
- Three blue shirts – one oxford, one chambray, one denim
- Two flannels – one gray, one plaid
- GAT sneakers
- brown pebble-grain longwings
- Two tees
