I spent most of last week in New Mexico, visiting my good friend Gus. We looked at a lot of vintage rugs and jewelry, ate a significant amount of food with chiles on it, and drank a few margaritas at 7,200 feet. Santa Fe is a funky, artsy, town with some wonderful history and a great energy to it. Plus, the crisp mountain weather and piñon-scented air were a welcome change from the dull San Francisco fall. I can see why so many Californians are moving there!
